2. South Indian tODi approximately equals the bhairavi of NIndia.
3. South Indian subhapantuvarALi equals the NIndian tODi.
4. But South Indian tune bhairavi is not equal to NIndian bhairavi.
5. A combination of SIndian kharapriya in ascendence i.e. cdd#fgaa#c' and naTabhairavi in descendence i.e. cdd#fgg#a#c' make the SIndian bhairavi. It is difficult to classify SIndian bhairavi in the ThAT system of NIndian Music. We have to probably, call it either as mishr kApI (ThAT) or mishr AsAvri (ThAT). The SI bhairavi has the qualities of both the thoughts.

Both the SI tODi (NI Bhairavi) and NI tODi (SI subhapanutuvarALi) are very soft and soothing to listen and are suitable for songs of devotion and sadness.
